I am currently spending most of my time around two areas: advanced cryptography and simpler ways of working.
On the cryptography side, I am exploring post-quantum cryptography, format-preserving encryption, zero-knowledge proofs, homomorphic encryption, and applied cryptographic systems, while using Rust to understand how these ideas can be implemented safely and practically.
On the systems side, I am working on Kanso, exploring how workflows, tools, approvals, and processes accumulate complexity over time, and how that friction can be measured and reduced without introducing yet another methodology.
Most of this work eventually finds its way into Vectis, Kanso, or the notes and experiments published here.
